A major update driven by new and changed SCF controls, with the majority of new controls focused on the governance of Artificial Intelligence and several new control sets added.
What changed in this release
- Major update based on a number of new and changed controls in the Secure Controls Framework (SCF). The majority of new controls focus on the governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- New AI-related controls are sourced from SCF Community Derived Content, a volunteer initiative that addresses risks organizations face where no law, regulation or industry-recognized standard yet supports a given action. The SCF organized Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, compile and edit recommendations from the industry.
- New control sets added: Conformity Validation Cadence (CVC); SCF CORE Community Derived; SCF CORE ESP Level 1 Foundational; SCF CORE ESP Level 2 Critical Infrastructure; SCF CORE ESP Level 3 Advanced Threats; SCF CORE AI-Enabled Operations; and SCF CORE AI Model Deployment.
Releases older than 2024 (2023 and beyond) are not covered by this errata archive and are significantly out of date. Existing customers are encouraged to repurchase the current version at 50% of the original product price.
